Software & data management across the entire product lifecycle

Software and data form the foundation of modern E/E architectures. To ensure consistent functionality, stable releases, and reliable updates throughout the entire product lifecycle, software versions, configuration data, variants, and system information must be managed in a structured and transparent way.

We support our customers in establishing clean software and data processes across development, integration, production, and release. Our work begins with the analysis and documentation of existing processes. We examine how software, data, configurations, versions, and variants are created, exchanged, released, and maintained across teams, tools, systems, and organizational interfaces. Based on this, we identify gaps, inconsistencies, and integration risks within the software and data landscape.

We support the development of structured E/E processes and data flows that create clarity from early development phases through production readiness. This includes interface, system, and tool analyses as well as the definition of clear responsibilities, process steps, and data handover points. The objective is to ensure that all relevant software and data elements are available, compatible, traceable, and correctly documented at the right time.

A key part of our expertise lies in configuration, version, and variant management. We ensure that software versions remain up to date, compatible with the corresponding system environment, and clearly linked to the correct vehicle, control unit, function, and release context. This reduces integration risks and creates the basis for stable development, validation, and production processes.

We have particularly in-depth expertise in Volkswagen-specific end-to-end processes. This includes the management of target data containers, compound releases, and baseline management. With this knowledge, we help customers create consistent data structures and secure software flows across complex development and production environments.

Our goal is to create a transparent, consistent, and future-proof software and data ecosystem. The result is a clean, reliable, and scalable process landscape that supports stable E/E development, integration, production, and release.
